About 1832 Photo Co.
A Victorian property. A rescued vintage beauty. One really good idea.
Our house — Star Manor Lavender Farm & Lodging — was established in 1832. That’s the whole naming story.
The 1832 was born out of Long Beach Photo Bus, a traveling photo booth built into a restored 1971 VW bus on Long Island. We looked at that, looked at our field, and said: we could build our own.
The outside is done — matte black paint, brass pinstriping, the whole thing. We spent the better part of a year getting her right. The inside gets refinished this winter.
The 1832 has never once smelled like a horse. We checked.
